Rachel First Steps!

October 11 was Rachel Weintraub's first birthday. Owen visited her and her family out in Chicago, and a remarkable thing happened that day. On her very first birthday, an hour or so after her party ended, she took her very first steps.

 

Unlike Owen, who took 1-2 steps one day and 2-3 steps on another, Rachel went from crawling to completely walking in an instant. Once she learned to walk, there was no stopping her. She walked back and forth from mom to dad to mom to dad to mom for a good 20 minutes. It was a special time. Enjoy the pictures...
