The Iris Gardens

It seems like every day I discover something new and wonderful about my town. Today it was the Presby Iris Gardens, a historic world-class garden just up the road in Upper Montclair.

 

I was really intrigued by the colors of the flowers.

 

Sometimes I wanted to just reach out and grab them, but I didn't.

 

Mom wouldn't let me.

 

She did let me play in the grass, though.

 

But she wouldn't let me eat it.

 

Did I mention that the irises were beautiful?

 

My dad seemed to be enjoying himself.

 

None of us had seen flowers like this before!

 

What colors!

 

Really spectacular stuff...
